Football Game Recap: Blairsville vs. Purchase Line

On Friday, Blairsville were out to avenge their 6-35 defeat to Purchase Line from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Blairsville fell just short of Purchase Line by a score of 20-22. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

The loss dropped Blairsville's record to 1-3. Purchase Line are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.

Blairsville will look to defend their home turf next week against Marion Center at 7:00 PM. As for Purchase Line, they will face off against Ligonier Valley. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
