Baseball Recap: Decatur Golden Gators vs. Federal Way Eagles
Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell victim to a rough 13-3 loss at the hands of the Federal Way Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Decatur of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Decatur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Buol, who went 1-for-1 with a triple and a run.
On Federal Way's side, Orlando Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched.
