Football Recap: Sacred Heart of Jesus Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart of Jesus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 39-6 loss at the hands of the Alhambra Moors.

Sacred Heart of Jesus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Alhambra, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart of Jesus is taking a road trip to square off against Burroughs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alhambra, they will challenge Westridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so the Moors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
