Soccer Recap: Lawrence County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lawrence County challenged Marshall County on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Lawrence County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Marshall County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lawrence County and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Marshall County, their win bumped their record up to 9-0-1.

Lawrence County has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Giles County on the 15th. As for Marshall County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Culleoka on the 14th.
