Basketball Recap: Shakamak Lakers vs. Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions
With a playoff game on the line, the Shakamak Lakers rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Lions 74-30 on the road. Shakamak's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Abagail Rousey and Jane Holdeman certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Rousey scored 11 points along with six rebounds, while Holdeman scored eight points.
The win makes it two in a row for Shakamak and bumps their season record up to 17-6. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.
Shakamak will take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lighthouse Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
