Recap: Beaufort Eagles vs. Hanahan Hawks
The Beaufort Eagles were the 33-30 winner over the Hanahan Hawks when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Beaufort received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 42-27 to Hanahan.
Beaufort lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Carson Crosby, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. Crosby hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Hanahan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashtyn Adams, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals. Adams hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Raven Williams, who scored 11 points.
Beaufort has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Hanahan, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Beaufort will be playing in front of their home fans against Philip Simmons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Philip Simmons is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Hanahan, they will head out on the road to face off against North Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
