Softball Recap: Flintridge Prep Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Flintridge Prep had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Ramona Convent Tigers by a score of 7-6. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Emma Carmack put in work no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Carmack was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in February of 2024.

In other batting news, Sapna Pradan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Mary Sinclair was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Flintridge Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 26-4 victory against Pasadena on the 20th. As for Ramona Convent, they have also already played their next game, an 8-5 win against Pioneer on the 19th.
