Baseball Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

Central Kitsap hit Prairie with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons came up short against the Cougars, falling 8-2. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly six runs.

Prairie saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Nunn, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Prairie and nudges their season record down to 16-8. As for Central Kitsap, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Prairie nor Central Kitsap have any future games scheduled.
