Carbon Hill lost to Cordova back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Carbon Hill didn't let Cordova take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Cordova lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lexee King, who had 14 assists and two aces.

Carbon Hill's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Cordova, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-13.

Carbon Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Haleyville on the 20th. As for Cordova, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Good Hope on the 22nd.
