Volleyball Recap: Richwood Takes a Loss

Richwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Highland Rams. The Lumberjacks were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Richwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highland, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Braxton County at 5:30 p.m. on October 6. As for Highland, they will square off against Tygarts Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
