Preview: Boone Grove Wolves vs. Hanover Central Wildcats
The Boone Grove Wolves will face off against the Hanover Central Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boone Grove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Wildcats are ranked 156th).
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Boone Grove walked away with it. They escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Boone Grove as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
In what's become a running theme this season, Hanover Central gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hammond Bishop Noll as Hanover Central made off with a 55-35 victory.
Boone Grove's record is now 5-18. Hanover Central's record is now 15-7.
Boone Grove lost to the Wildcats on the road by a decisive 48-31 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Boone Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
