After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Jefferson, Academy of Our Lady was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes. The result was nothing new for the Penguins, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Academy of Our Lady is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for L.W. Higgins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9-1.
