Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost to the Goldendale Timberwolves on the road by a 55-38 margin.

When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost, don't look at Rocio Garay. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Garay a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justien Tido, who put up eight points.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Goldendale, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Riverside is taking a road trip to take on Grant Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goldendale, they will host Cle Elum-Roslyn at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th.
