Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian Beats San Luis Obispo Classical Academy for Their Third Straight Win

Coastal Christian took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Conquerors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Grizzlies on Tuesday. For the Conquerors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Coastal Christian took San Luis Obispo Classical Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 21-25, 21-25, 15-13.

The victory was the third in a row for Coastal Christian, bringing their record up to 3-0. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Coastal Christian and San Luis Obispo Classical Academy will both be playing Valley Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Conquerors will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
