Highland Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 21-13 victory over the Hermitage Panthers on Friday. The Springers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Hermitage still got an impressive performance from Ben Yeanay, who rushed for 93 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 131 yards and one TD. Yeanay got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards. Hermitage's leading receiver Andre Clarke was Yeanay's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and one score.

Highland Springs' record is now 10-3. As for Hermitage, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Coming up, Highland Springs will face off against Indian River at 7:00 p.m. on December 6. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Springers 14.9, the Braves 13.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Hermitage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
