Basketball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Heights Jets. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jets from their previous meeting back in February.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Western Heights, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-8 win against Harding Fine Arts on the 5th. As for Western Heights, they have also already played their next matchup, a 38-7 victory against Northwest Classen on the 5th.
