Soccer Game Preview: Jackson City vs. Buckhorn

Jackson City has gone a perfect 3-0 against Buckhorn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. One thing working in Jackson City's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four games.

Jackson City barely beat Wolfe County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on Wolves with a sharp 5-1 win on Thursday. Jackson City haven't had any issues with Wolfe County recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Buckhorn came up short against Knott County Central on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Buckhorn haven't had much luck with Knott County Central recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Buckhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson City, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Jackson City skirted past Buckhorn 1-0 in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
