Mount View came out on top against Summers County on Wednesday thanks in part to Phoebe Dudgeon's efforts. Dudgeon didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over 4.1 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Dudgeon and Mount View will head out on the road to take on Greater Beckley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
