Softball Game Preview: Hereford Whitefaces vs. Post Antelopes

The Hereford Whitefaces will head out to take on the Post Antelopes at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Hereford will be strutting in after a win while Post will be coming in after a loss.

Hereford saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Kermit.

Hereford's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Evelyn Brethour, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another was Lia Gaytan, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Post was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-1 to Hale Center.

Post's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hereford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
