Linsly took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 78-60 win over the Austintown-Fitch Falcons. The victory was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on eight straight dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Austintown-Fitch still got an impressive performance from Marcel Finkley, who went 11 for 21 on his way to 26 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Owens, who posted 11 points and six boards.

Austintown-Fitch is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Linsly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-48 loss against Morgantown on the 14th. As for Austintown-Fitch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-52 win against Mayfield on the 13th.
