Football Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. Carlson Marauders + How To Watch

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will challenge the Carlson Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Dexter's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Dexter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over South Lyon. The Dreadnaughts pushed the score to 34-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Carlson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down Bedford 33-14. Given the Marauders' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Kicking Mules are ranked 186th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dexter better keep an eye on Izaiah Wright. He was instrumental in Carlson's win, rushing for 308 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Wright's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards.

Carlson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 386 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bedford didn't rushed for any.

Dexter's record is now 10-1. As for Carlson, their record now sits at 11-0.

Dexter came up short against Carlson when the teams last played back in November of 2023, falling 27-23. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wright, who rushed for 178 yards and a pair of scores. Now that the Dreadnaughts know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
