Basketball Recap: Statesboro's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

If Jenkins County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Statesboro, they should've done a better job of containing Ja'Caiden Cone. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 64-33 stomp they got against the Jenkins County War Eagles thanks in part to Cone, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 20 points and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.
