Baseball Recap: Pasco Comes Up Short

Pasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Kamiakin Braves, falling 23-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Max Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Kamiakin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pasco is set to face off against their familiar foe Hermiston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kamiakin will take on rival Richland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Braves 3.4, the Bombers 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
