Basketball Recap: Carney Drops Season-High Score on Coyle

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carney). They enjoyed a cozy 76-58 win over the Coyle Bluejackets on Tuesday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 58-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Carney's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Coyle, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carney will take on Mulhall-Orlando at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coyle, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lomega at 4:00 p.m. Lomega will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Coyle surely won't give up without a fight.
