Soccer Game Preview: Caldera vs. Ridgeview

Caldera has gone a perfect 5-0 against Ridgeview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Caldera will be playing at home against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. Ridgeview took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Caldera, who comes in off a win.

Caldera took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Redmond/Culver as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The win continues a trend for Caldera in their matchups with Redmond/Culver: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Summit. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Summit are ranked 22nd).

Caldera now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Caldera took their victory against Ridgeview when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will Caldera repeat their success, or does Ridgeview has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
