Selma had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They never let the Sanger West Hornets get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Selma's win bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Sanger West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Selma will take on Dos Palos in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Sanger West, they will take on Chavez at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
