While Centennial's victory against Clovis East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Hawks had just enough and edged out the Timberwolves 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Golden Hawks in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Clovis East still got an impressive performance from Anna Cheatham, who had 11 digs and two assists. Cheatham has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Centennial now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clovis East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Clovis East will both be playing Buchanan the next time they take the court. The Timberwolves will head out to face the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Golden Hawks will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
