Baseball Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Preston was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They lost 11-2 to the Pocatello Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-5 defeat two weeks ago.

Preston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Despain, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Preston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Pocatello, they moved to 9-16 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Preston will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Century at 4:30 p.m. Pocatello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
