Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Heritage Christian, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory had just enough and edged Heritage Christian out 54-52.

Meanwhile, Tri-West Hendricks came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They rang in the new year with a 56-49 win over University on Saturday.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Lauren Bear and Taylor Seay. Bear had a solid game and posted 12 points and eight boards. Meanwhile, Seay did her best for the losing side, putting up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tri-West Hendricks when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win.
