Volleyball Recap: John Curtis Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Mikaela Duncan and Alyzia Cola- Grayson

After a string of four wins, John Curtis Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Parkview Baptist Eagles by a score of 2-1. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

John Curtis Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Alyzia Cola- Grayson and Mikaela Duncan. Cola- Grayson had seven digs and two aces, while Duncan had 14 digs and three aces. Cola- Grayson has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 18 times she's played.
