Crossville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 53-43 to the Valley Head Tigers. On the bright side, the 43- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Crossville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Valley Head, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Crossville will host Sylvania at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Head, they will face off against Sand Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
