The Riverside Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Forest City Foresters at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Riverside's last matchup with Mid Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Vikings lost 15-0 to the Spartans. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Forest City came up short against Blue Ridge on Wednesday and fell 11-7.

Riverside's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Forest City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Riverside skirted past Forest City 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Foresters turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
