Basketball Recap: East Mountain Takes a Loss

East Mountain lost against Bosque back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the East Mountain Timberwolves and the Bosque Bobcats didn't end well, with the East Mountain Timberwolves falling 51-35.

Bosque found their leader in sophomore Josiah Wilson, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The contest was Wilson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Starr, who posted eight points along with six boards and three steals.

East Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bosque, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mescalero Apache at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bosque, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Cuba at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
