Football Recap: Douglas Tigers vs. McQueen Lancers
Douglas hadn't done well against McQueen recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Douglas Tigers claimed a resounding 49-21 victory over the McQueen Lancers on the road. Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for McQueen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
After each having a week off, Douglas and Reed will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
