League recap: Carter scores huge upset over Kimball

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kimball, who took down 178th ranked Kimball, 28-14.

South Oak Cliff extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region II District 11 this week by beating North Dallas, 62-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

The Bulldogs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jason Medellin threw for 40 yards and Jeremiah Gantt had 27 yards receiving. On the ground Allen Moore chipped in 26 yards. Geovanni Manning helped North Dallas' passing attack out by catching two balls for eight yards.

North Dallas' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Medellin has thrown for 764 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Gantt has 27 catches for 280 yards. John Jones leads the league in rushing with 392 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Carter takes on Adamson. The Cowboys are in third place, while the Leopards are in second place.

Carter moved up to 393 from 494 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region II District 11. A 28-14 win over the Knights helped the Cowboys improve their standing.
