Football Recap: Central Valley Hawks vs. Pacheco Panthers

Central Valley was the 18-17 winner over Pacheco when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Valley Hawks had to suffer through a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Pacheco Panthers. The Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Although Central Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Erick Mendoza and Andre Flores.

Leading Pacheco to victory were Aidan Pikas and Jacob Sanchez. Pikas rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while Sanchez rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Mosley, who picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pacheco, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Central Valley will host Beyer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley is facing Beyer at the right time seeing as Beyer is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pacheco, they will square off against Johansen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pacheco will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
