With a playoff win on the line, Calhoun City rose to the challenge on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the O'Bannon Greenwaves. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Jayden Brand was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
