Football Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Hudson + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hudson walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 34-13 margin over the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

The win (which was Hudson's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.9 points over those games. As for Old Rochester Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Hudson and Old Rochester Regional are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Hawks will take on Norwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Hudson 10.4, the Clippers 15) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Old Rochester Regional, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Apponequet Regional at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
