Basketball Recap: Foundation Academy Has No Trouble Against Lake Minneola

There's no place like home for Foundation Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lake Minneola Hawks with a sharp 65-45 win on Friday. The contest marked the Lions' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foundation Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Koziol, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Koziol has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Raymond, who posted 15 points and eight boards.

Foundation Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Lake Minneola, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Foundation Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-61 win against Evangelical Christian on the 6th. Lake Minneola has also already played their next contest (against Montverde Academy Purple), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
