Basketball Game Preview: Suffern Mounties vs. Ketcham The Storm

The Suffern Mounties will challenge the Ketcham The Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Suffern's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Friday, Suffern beat Middletown 59-52. Given the Mounties' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Middie Bears are ranked 382nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ketcham had to start their season on the road back in December of 2024, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 62-53 to North Rockland. The The Storm just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

Suffern's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Ketcham, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Suffern's way against Ketcham in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, as Suffern made off with a 59-33 win. Does Suffern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ketcham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
