After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calhoun Falls Charter, Whitmire was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed by the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets to the tune of 39-11. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Whitmire found their leader in sophomore Braylen Sartor, who posted ten points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Seth Rueter, who put up ten points.
