Basketball Recap: Timothy Ofesi Key Part of a Team Effort in Rams Win

Alief Elsik picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Texas City Stingarees. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Alief Elsik's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Timothy Ofesi, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave Ofesi a new career-high in blocks (five). Gabriel Diallo was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Texas City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kymaro Williams, who posted seven points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brennan Mckenzie, who put up 12 points.

Alief Elsik's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Texas City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
