Basketball Recap: Chase Takes a Loss

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the North Buncombe Black Hawks and fell 94-50. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-24.

Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for North Buncombe, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chase will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hendersonville at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for North Buncombe, they will challenge T.C. Roberson at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in North Buncombe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
