After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Davidson, Salisbury was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lexington Yellowjackets with a sharp 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won nine matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Ashley Yang made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Yang was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Dasmine Ambers was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
