Sherando gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clarke County Eagles. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Sherando's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-12.

Coming up, Sherando will challenge Central Woodstock at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarke County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Handley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
