T.L. Hanna extends home losing streak to seven

Recap: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. J.L. Mann Patriots

The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The match between them and J.L. Mann wasn't particularly close, with T.L. Hanna falling 52-33. While losing is never fun, T.L. Hanna can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Patriots are ranked eighth).

T.L. Hanna's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harmoni Earl, who scored 13 points along with three blocks. Kaitlyn Foster was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds.

Leading J.L. Mann to victory were Jade Hailstock and Imari Richardson. Hailstock scored 15 points along with three steals, while Richardson scored 17 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anaya Dillard, who scored five points.

T.L. Hanna dropped their record down to 9-14 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for J.L. Mann, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

T.L. Hanna will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18. As for J.L. Mann, they will head out on the road to take on the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Mauldin sitting on five straight victories and the Patriots on three.
