Dixon is 9-1 against Mendota since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dukes & Duchesses will look to defend their home pitch against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Dixon didn't have quite enough to beat Orion/Sherrard and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Dixon in their meetings with Orion/Sherrard: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Mendota managed to keep up with Genoa-Kingston until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Cogs.

Mendota dropped their record down to 14-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Dixon, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-1.

Everything went Dixon's way against Mendota in their previous matchup back in April, as Dixon made off with a 4-1 victory. Will the Dukes & Duchesses repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
