Recap: Jackson-Olin Mustangs vs. Midfield Patriots
The Jackson-Olin Mustangs lost against the Midfield Patriots back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Jackson-Olin was the victim of a tough 50-30 loss at the hands of Midfield. Jackson-Olin has not had much luck with Midfield recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Midfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamiya Webb, who almost dropped a triple-double on 9 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Webb is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jazmin Johnson, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals.
Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Midfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson-Olin will challenge Altamont at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Altamont is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Midfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Wenonah at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
