Basketball Recap: Burton Comes Up Short

Burton lost against WISH Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burton Scorpions had to suffer through a 90-12 loss at the hands of the WISH Academy Owls.

Burton's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for WISH Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Burton will be playing in front of their home fans against Animo Watts at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. As for WISH Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Animo Venice at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
