Duchesne and Hermann squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Duchesne had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Bearcats. The Pioneers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hermann to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kealie Lane, who had 23 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynlee Ash, who had 17 assists and six digs.

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 18-10-2. As for Hermann, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-13-2.

Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hermann, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Fatima on the 1st.
